Stuart's first 2 euros
Cliff is teaching me how to blog. He continues to push me up the on-ramp on the information highway. It is a heavy lift, but he thinks he can make it. I was the one who suggested that we live in Spain. I could live in England only if I had an astronaut's space suit. That country has a wonderful cultural history, but some of the most foul weather in the world. Of course, they do save money on having daily television weather reports. They just play a loop that says; "Today will be rainy, cold and windy." Fortunately, Cliff was amenable to leaving the UK and living in Spain. There are reputedly one million British ex-pats living in Spain. For most of them, their Spanish vocabulary consists of "dos cervezas (beers) por favor!"

Our lives together will be a series of new adventures. Cliff has enumerated many of those events. I hope to add my perspective. I have one advantage in that 26 years ago, I lived and worked in Mexico City for 6 months. Puedo hablar español más o menos, especialmente menos. I can speak Spanish more or less, especially less! So I speak and understand just enough Spanish to get into trouble.
We hope you will enjoy going on our journey with us.
All the best,
Stuart
